Domenica made me feel SO comfortable, and my mom and MOH and I seriously had the best girls night chatting with Domenica and working out both my hair and makeup run through a. She also gave me so many tips to work on and perfect for the few months before my wedding. She is SO down to earth, so hilarious and just a really nice girl! I love her!! She was super flexible and answered any questions I had right away through the months before my wedding. She even picked the most PERFECT custom extensions for my hair, which I am so glad I got because now I can wear them for date nights and special occasions!!! Thank you for the rec Domenica! Fast forward to my wedding day on October 6th. Domenica and her team were so timely and were very, very strict (in an amazing way) with the schedule to ensure everyone’s hair and makeup was complete before the photographer got there (which I have read online is a rare thing in the makeup world, and she nailed the timeline). She also was just pumping me up for the day and kept me relaxed and also was sort of protective over me to make sure everything was perfect. I’ve been in other weddings where the makeup artists just chatted with each other and seemed cliquey, but that was not the case at all!!! We all had the best time! The morning with Domenica and my girls and Galway Downs was truly time that I really cherished on our big day, and Domenica has a lot to do with that! “I LOVE DOMENICA AND HER TEAM.. So let me start off by saying is I wanted to book Domenica and her team before I even had a trial. The first phone call that took place between Domenica and I, thats all it took. Let me just say this... I lost my Dad in March to cancer. 3 months after I was engaged... so I told her this and instead of just saying “Omg.. I’m so sorry.. anyways what do you think about this..” She was comforting me for about 5 minutes saying how he will always be with me and he will be there the day of my wedding and for everything I go through.. it was simply amazing and so sweet of her.... this made me want to book her instantly. She was so sweet and caring and verbally explained in detail about her business and what they do and immediately sent over pricing. After it was all booked she even let me ADD another girl to the line up of 7 Bridesmaids I had on top of me getting my hair and make up done!! I’m usually very particular about my hair and make up so needless to say I was nervous about getting it done by someone else. and I was extremely shy to speak up about what I and did like and didn’t like (which wasn’t much)... so Domenica could sense this over text and called me and had about a 30 minute long convo on the phone about how I need to be up front and honest about what I truly want and how I like my hair and make up. So I did to her and the girls came in ready to rock and did my hair and make up just how I wanted without me saying a THING The day of the wedding the Natalie and Lanie were on time, set up and got goin with girl number 1 and 2. They had 2 girls going at the same time to ensure we would run out of time. They are so sweet and easy to talk to and so funny! The girls even brought back everyone when we were all done and before we left and did touch ups on hair and makeup. Everyone loved their look and we all got so many compliments all day!!! They were finished with all the girls’ treatments early (before the photographers/videographers arrived) which helped us stay on schedule on such a busy day. She also provided me with a “touch-up kit” to keep my makeup looking fresh during pictures and the ceremony. I don’t wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis & was a little bit nervous getting airbrush makeup done. However, Domenica did a wonderful job making me feel beautiful by simply “enhancing” my features instead of loading on too much eyeshadow.

“Domenica is amazing!! The whole process from booking, to the trial, to wedding day and paying was seamless. She is so easy to work with - very personable and obviously an expert at what she does. After my trial I had a few things I wanted to do differently for the big day and Domenica listened to what I wanted and completely nailed it. All of my bridesmaids had looks in mind that they wanted and there was not one complaint about how their hair and makeup turned out. We had all kinds of complexions, skin tones, hair textures, etc and my biggest fear was that someone would end up looking washed out or ashy or that hairstyles wouldn’t hold or look neat, but let me tell you - everyone looked FLAWLESS! I had a big group of girls to begin with including moms, bridesmaids, and sisters and on the day of my wedding a few other family members wanted to get hair and makeup done last minute and Domenica made it happen! “While asking for recommendation for beauty I was consistently told about Domenica; if she wasn’t mentioned and I asked about her, everyone said great things. She did amazing! She brought another lady with her, Shelby, who did great hair! This lady gets booked up quickly sodefinitely book early. One thing I really appreciated was her willingness to stay after the girl’s hair and makeup was done to make sure everyone’s hair and make-up was on point. I kept her through family photos where she would fix my makeup in between shots if needed. It was great! It also made me feel like a celebrity for the day! Definitely love Domenica! She is also always willing to do hair and makeup for any day…doesn’t have to be a wedding or special event. My only think I wish was that Shelby was there for my trial so I had the actual person doing my hair and doing my make up at the trial. Or that Domenica did both for my wedding. The way the ladies curl hair is slightly different (both fabulous don’t get me wrong) but I looked different with the different curl and I would have liked to have known that before it was too late to change it. However, again I felt amazing the day of and they did an incredible job. Make sure all your girls get their hair and make-up done! I also had both mothers get theirs done.
